Xiaoyi(Lydia) ZHANG

I seek to be a close observer of society and to reflect it deeply in my works. From my systematic exposure to illustration at university, till now I am gradually exploring a style that can better express my emotions, my works basically focus on issues and phenomena in society and the stories that happen in my own life and surroundings. I think it is important to have different voices in society that perceive an event from different perspectives, and different approaches to documenting it. I find it both challenging and comfortable to tell stories in visual language.
